Voluma is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid gel filler from Allergan that is used for mid-face and cheek volume. Volbella is a similar product used for lip enhancement. Volift / Vollure is used for treatment of the deep furrows on either side of the mouth extending from the nose down toward the chin, the Naso-labial folds. These fillers may be appropriate for some patients, but they have a different risk profile which needs to be considered by the patient.
